What is GRC:
Handcrafted statues are cast from Glass Reinforced Concrete (GRC) by the Balinese artisans for your enjoyment. A stone made from multiple elements, it is lighter than concrete but heavy enough to withstand the weather.
What is GRC – glass reinforced concrete Statues, made from multiple elements. In this case, cement, crushed stone and fibreglass have been used. The glass fibre has a tensile strength, which helps bind and strengthen the concrete & stone.
Why is GFC used:
Glass Reinforced Concrete (GRC) has the properties to last outdoors for many years. The appearance can be changed with concrete sealer paint to compliment a different look in your garden.
Is a GRC Statue heavy:
As a GRC Statue is cast in a mix of cement, crushed stone, and fibreglass it is lighter than stone or concrete. This makes the statue able to be moved around the garden or outdoor spaces, but it is heavy enough to be structurally sound.
